Our Services
Weed Control
Consists of pre and post emergent herbicide applications applied in Spring and Fall for year-round control of unwanted weeds. Programs are also available to tackle difficult to control weeds such as dallisgrass and nutsedge.
Fertilization
Bermudagrass Plan consists of (5) applications made monthly during the growing season. Zoysia/St. Augustine Plan Consists of (3) applications made every other month during the growing
season.
Fire Ant Control
One application a year to control fire ants for a period of 12 months and is guaranteed during that period.
Tree/Shrub Treatment
Applications made to control insects or fungus that are causing damage to your trees or shrubs. We will evaluate your issues and provide a treatment plan at that time.
Winter Lawn Cleanup
During the months of December and January, we can assist you with unsightly, and potentially damaging, lawn debris that accumulates from the Fall leaf drop. We recommend that leaves be mulched
or cleaned up in a timely manner as they can be detrimental to your lawn.
Lawn Disease Control
Here in North Texas, we recommend that all St. Augustine and Zoysia grass lawns be preventatively treated in Spring and Fall for diseases such as take-all root rot, brown patch and zoysia patch, especially
when the grass is growing in a shaded environment.

About Us
Paul Madewell has over 25 years of turf management experience. At an early age, Paul started in residential turf care working for a landscape company where he learned the basics of lawn care.
After graduating highschool in Aledo, TX, Paul attended Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Turfgrass Management. He then spent the next 16 years working in the golf course management industry, with 10 of those years as a Golf Course Superintendent for the City of Plano. In 2021, Paul made the decision to start Madewell Turf Applications with the desire to bring a high-quality turf care service to the residential community.
